What a static URL QR code actually contains

A scanner reads the URL encoded in the QR. RSLinkMark does not create a short link that it controls, so there is no service-owned destination switch.

Choose a stable URL

Use a page you intend to maintain. A redirect you control can be useful, but its hosting and long-term availability are your responsibility.

Test the final version

Scan the exported image after placing it in the actual layout. Cropping the quiet zone, reducing contrast or shrinking modules can make a code difficult to read even when the original preview worked.

Try the workflow

Use the full destination, including https://. Scan the downloaded code with a second device before adding it to a printed card.
